God created us with a Holy fear that is the beginning of wisdom, it drives us in a search for knowledge of who God is. Holy fear gives us understanding of dangers, sin, and distractions (Proverbs 9:10). Holy fear for God is all that we should possess in our hearts, minds and souls. This fear is not one that scares us, yet it motivates us to love him above all, walk in his ways, serve him with a willing heart, and worship only him (Deuteronomy 10:12).
Unless we are constant in God's word with genuine Faith, Satan leads us down a trail of tears that is based on false feelings driven by the unholy fear.
As women, unholy fears can dominate our lives. Unholy fear creeps in to destroy what we love, our peace, and our joy. This Satan inspired fear is a miserable and malicious emotion that manifests itself in a plethora of ways.
Unholy Fear's destructive intent:
Bodily Destruction: Overreactive Body Functions
Erratic Heartbeat
Shortness of Breath
Increased Blood Pressure
Digestive Issues
Blood flow changes
Sweating, Shaking, & Paralysis
Emotional Destruction: Plagues Emotions with Lies
Anxiousness
Panic
Confusion
Laziness
Anger / Abuse
Rejection
Irrational Thoughts (Paranoia)
Self Preservation focus
Spiritual Destruction: Separates us from God
Seek only Man's approval
Serve the world
Vengeance
Worship Self or Counterfeit Idols
Justified Sin (survivor mentality)
Rebellion against God's Will
Deny God in Arrogance
Unholy fear is a snare or trap set by Satan and his dominions.
Unholy fear can plague our every day life. Fear often consumes our every thought and/or actions; produces a rash conclusion that there is no hope for any kind of peace. We live out an internal fictional horror story, that is riddled with pain, embarrassment, loss, abuse, negative thoughts, punishment, and untruths.
God offers a different trail free from the bondage of unholy fear. God gives a road to Salvation. We fall short of God's desires, we sin, and all of us deserve death; God offers the eternal free gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord & Savior (Romans 6:23).
The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted. (Proverbs 29:25 NASB95)
God's Truth: Our God is sovereign. We are commanded to trust in HIM only.
Face the Fact: We are commanded to "Fear Not!"
Scripture Says:
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 NASB95)
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. (Proverbs 1:33 KJV)
And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, (Isaiah 14:3 KJV)
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. (1 John 4:18 NASB20)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)
Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1 ESV)
